Well hello there! It’s a really exciting time for me at the moment as I am in the process of recording lots of brilliant new demo material with titles that include ‘Peaches’, ‘The Girl He Left Behind' and 'Blow The Candle Out’. Since leaving London and moving to San Francisco last June, I’ve been very busy writing lots of new material - and I've become particular interested int he links between American folk Music and Tradiitonal British material!

 

I’ve been feeling particularly productive and inspired by the sunny Californian weather, and also by finally having some long awaited free time after six long years of being a vocal student! Life as a professional is both exciting and challenging, and I am still getting to grips with the business side of things, but enjoying the assistance of my fabulous and very supportive manager Rob Malcolm.

This last weekend was spent recording three of my new songs for my latest demo in a new studio in San Fran with a fabulous engineer/producer from L.A. While I do miss the busy London music and social scene, I am soaking up the San Francisco experience and looking forward to making my L.A. debut at the Taxi Songwriting Annual Road Rally Convention in early November. So watch this space!
