Dear Friends, I had two fantastic concerts - firstly at Dougie McLean's 'Perthshie Amber' Festival in Pitlochry and then at my Scottish album launch in the Universal Hall, Findhorn. Thank you to all of my lovely fans to came out to see me live in action, and to everyone else who supported me online. I'm currently writing and recording new material for the upcoming 2010 new album with Medwyn Goodall. Sending you all lots of lovely winter blessings ... x Iona |

Dear Friends, I'm really pleased to let you know that I have recently made the move back home to Findhorn, Scotland. After 6 fab years of studying, performing and teaching music in London, I am really pleased to be home in the highlands. I have spent the last couple weekends performing at a community wedding ceremony, jamming on the harp with 5 djembe drummers at the Cullerne mini-highland games, and leading an esoteric healing workshop group in the Giatri Mantra - what a welcome home! I am currently working on an an exciting new co-writing project, which should take me throught the Autumn/Winter period, before I begin touring around the UK in the Spring/Summer of 2010. Thanks again for keeping in touch and please feel free to post me a messgae on the board! In the meantime, you can catch me in concert with my fab trio on Friday the 6th of Novemebr in the Universal Hall, Findhorn (£9 tickets at the door). All details of the venue location, booking and tickets on the gigs listing page. With love, x Iona |

Dear Friends, I have recently collected my fabulous new purple Pilgrim 'Ashdown' Harp & it has already inspired some new songs. Here is a pic of me with my lovely new harp on the day I collected it from the Pilgrim Workshop in Godstone, Surrey. I hope to post some of the new harp songs on the site player in the near future. Autumn blessings to all my fab fans! x Iona |

Dear Friends, When I took my Ian Firth Clarsach to be restored by the Pilgrim Harp Makers in Surrey last year, I was greeted by a friendly team of dedicated, humble and inspiring artists that work there. They took me on a tour of their workshop and I immediately fell in love with their harps and was struck by the incredible craftsmanship that goes into making of these beautiful instruments. During the tour, I had the chance to play the large pedal concert harps, which was a first for me - and VERY exciting. I can tell you that 'Ocean' sounded fabulous on a 47 string Salisbury Pedal Harp! Anyway, I actually fell in love with the Ashdown Lever Folk Harp, which I have spent the last year manifesting ... I returned to the Pilgrim Harp workshop last month to place my order for an Ashdown, and I'm really pleased to announce my connection with Pilgrim Harps. I will be collecting my new harp in mid August, but in the meantime, here are some photos from my tour of the Pilgrim Harps workshop. x Iona
John, one of the harp makers giving me the grand tour! ... The Pilgrim Clarsachs in the making ...

Dear Friends,
Last night was a fabulous album launch - an evening filled with fantastic music in the beautiful church of St James The Less. There were over 80 lovely guests enjoying fine wine and beer by candlelight, with two brilliant support acts; Jon Allen on guitar and vocals, followed by the Sam Lee Trio . Thank you to everyone who came to support me and the new album, and to everyone for the well wishes! What a great beginning to sharing 'Beside The Waves Of Time' ...
Love & Light
