| 19 December, 2008 Dear Friends, Seasons Greetings! I can hardly believe this is the last newsletter of 2008 – how fast time flies when you’re working hard and having fun! The past year has been a challenging, busy and very fulfilling one for me with the writing and recording of my new album, which I’m pleased to announce, is almost complete! In November, I performed at London’s songwriter’s showcase The Big Secret and also at the famous Union Chapel, where Lauri Monroy filmed a great YouTube video of ‘Blackbird’ for you, which you can see here… More recently, producer Nick Turner and I have been taking the album through it’s final mixing and mastering stages before the manufacturing begins in January. I’ve also been deciding on the artwork, final track order, song titles, and after much thought and consideration I have chosen to name the album …. “Beside The Waves Of Time.” The title reflects the album’s subject matter of the sea, sailors, coastal landscapes, a mix of the past and the present, as well as the notion that the ocean itself is timeless. I’m delighted to announce that the album will be released for sale on the 17th of March 2009, via iTunes, Amazon and all good music stores. In the meantime, I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and thank you again for your continued support. May the year ahead bring you joy, peace and prosperity!
